Surface-Enhanced Raman Spectroscopy (SERS) for characterization SARS-CoV-2

چکیده

We used SERS with silver nanoparticles (AgNPs) as the active substrate to develop a, simple, quick, and accurate method for detection characterization SARS-CoV-2 without need RNA isolation purification. Inactivated was used. The signals were more than 105 times enhanced normal Raman (NR) spectra. spectra of fingerprint revealed pronounced intensity nucleic acids; aromatic amino acid side chains: 1007 cm−1 (Phe marker), 1095 (CN PO2− markers), 1580 (Tyr, Trp markers). Vibrations protein main chain: 1144 NH2 1221 NH 1270 (NH2 1453 (CHCH2 marker). All these biomolecules could be adsorbed on AgNPs surface's dense hot patches. band varied concentration SARS-CoV-2, a virus limit less 103 vp/mL RSDs 20 %.

Molecular Diagnosis of Plasma Phenylalanine in Neonates with Phenylketonuria Disease Using Biological Sensors Based on Surface-Enhanced Raman Spectroscopy (SERS)

In this study, silver nanoparticles were chemically synthesized and deposited on glass substrates using a reducing agent of sucrose, at 50°C. Different characterizations including atomic force microscopy (AFM), field emission scanning electron microscopy (FESEM), and Raman spectroscopy were obtained to study silvery substrates. Then, the silvery substrates were used as the SERS substrates to de...

Surface Enhanced Raman Spectroscopy

Raman spectroscopy is the use of inelastic scattering of light to probe various properties of molecules and materials. Incoming photons interact with the electron cloud of the molecular bonds and inelastically scatter. During this scattering the energy of the incoming photon is shifted to red or blue depending on the particular process. This phenomenon is called Raman scattering and was discove...

Surface-enhanced Raman spectroscopy.

The ability to control the size, shape, and material of a surface has reinvigorated the field of surface-enhanced Raman spectroscopy (SERS). Because excitation of the localized surface plasmon resonance of a nanostructured surface or nanoparticle lies at the heart of SERS, the ability to reliably control the surface characteristics has taken SERS from an interesting surface phenomenon to a rapi...

Surface Enhanced Raman Scattering Spectroscopy

This review covers from the basic principles of Raman spectroscopy to the advanced technique of surface enhanced Raman Scattering (SERS) spectroscopy. After briefly going through the description of Raman and introduction of the development of SERS, the article will focus on the “hotspot” of the current research work on SERS – single molecule spectroscopy. We will see later that “hotspot” is als...
